20Gbps USB-C extension

The Sonnet Allegro Max USB-C 20Gbps 1-port PCIe card enables fast and reliable file transfers with a bandwidth of up to 20 Gbps. This corresponds to a maximum effective data transfer rate of up to 2000 MB/s under real-world conditions. It thus expands computers and Thunderbolt expansion systems with a powerful USB-C port.

Thanks to the hot-swap support, devices can be easily changed during operation. The specially shaped connector reduces interference with PCIe slots, and a resettable overcurrent fuse protects both the card and the computer in the event of a short circuit. The card delivers up to 15 W of power to USB-C bus-powered devices without the need for an additional power supply . This means that even power-hungry SSDs and RAID systems can be operated reliably.

Compatible with macOS 14.4 or higher, Windows 10 and 11 as well as Linux Kernel 5.4 and newer, the card is versatile. It is also fully compatible with Thunderbolt expansion systems, including Sonnet's Echo series.
