Sonnet PCIe Card

For those who require significant storage expansion and where extremely high data transfer rates and peak performance in input/output operations (IOPS) are essential, an upgrade with internal U.2-based NVMe SSDs with the is an optimal solution. However, these require an adapter. With Sonnet's Fusion™ Dual U.2 SSD PCIe card, it is possible to quickly and easily mount two enterprise-class U.2 SSDs with a capacity of up to 32TB in a single full-length x16 PCIe card slot. This requires no additional power or data cables, drive adapters or mounting bays.

The Sonnet card can be used in a variety of ways, such as instant-access media storage or as a high-performance scratch disk in a Mac Pro® tower, a Windows® or Linux® PC desktop or server, or in a Thunderbolt™-to-PCIe card expansion system with an available x16 PCIe slot. Users of older Mac® models can install macOS® on one of the SSDs to create an extremely fast boot drive, while the other SSD can still be used for fast performance.
