Sonor's Meisterklasse series of bars are designed to meet the needs and demands of schools, kindergartens and music schools. Lightweight yet robust materials meet excellent workmanship, made possible by years of experience and a high level of know-how.

Resonators and sound plates

In contrast to the Meisterklasse xylophone bars, the metallophone bars produce a significantly longer tone with a warmer timbre. The resonators of the Meisterklasse bars are made of resophene, a material that is very light and at the same time extremely durable. A special alloy serves as the material for the 6 mm thick sound plates, which are tuned to the fundamental.
