The Sonor ProLite Snare PL 1405 SDW 14"x5" Snow Tiger is a high-end snare drum made of maple with tune-safe, reinforcement ring and distinctive sound. The CLTF cross-bonded drum shell consists of a total of nine layers of maple, giving a total thickness of 4 mm. Chrome-plated lugs with a practical Tune Safe function guarantee tuning reliability and sensitive adjustment possibilities. The 45° bearing edge in combination with the single-ply Remo heads results in a warm, balanced and crisp basic character. The robust steel hoop provides a balanced sound with a wide frequency density. The proven Dual Glide throw-off can be finely adjusted and offers comfortable running characteristics. The overall visual appearance is rounded off by the unique Snow Tiger finish, the noble Sonor veneer harmonizes nicely with the chrome-plated shell hardware.
