The Soyuz 013 FET is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone with a cardioid polar pattern, designed for detailed and natural sound capture. It excels in recording pianos, guitars, string and choral ensembles, orchestras, and drum overheads, delivering a precise yet musically warm character. The 013 FET captures transient-rich instruments with remarkable accuracy while maintaining smooth, gentle highs and a natural midrange response. This balance results in a sound that is both detailed and pleasantly full across the frequency and dynamic spectrum. With a maximum sound pressure level of 143 dB and a low self-noise of 16 dB(A), the microphone performs equally well in both studio and live recording environments. Power is supplied via 48V phantom power through a standard XLR connection.
