The Soyuz 017 FET is a large diaphragm condenser microphone with cardioid polar pattern. It delivers a subtly tuned vintage sound and reproduces transients quickly and tightly. The 017 FET captures voices and strings in particular in a very musical way, as it reproduces details with amazing depth, fine clarity and warmth in the upper frequencies through the gold-coated 34mm diaphragm. In addition, it can also portray complex instruments very precisely across the entire frequency spectrum.
