The Spector Euro 5 LX EB Black Cherry Gloss is manufactured in the Czech Republic and offers all the features that made Stuart Spector's and Ned Steinberger's bass designs the spearhead of the noble bass movement. Accordingly, the Neck-Through design of the electric bass is comfortable to the player thanks to the gently curved body with a burl poplar top, while split EMG 40CSTW pickups and the active Spector TonePump 2-band equalizer deliver a wide range of sound. High-quality hardware in the form of Spector Locking Bridge, brass saddle and Gotoh 707 mechanics completes the Spector Euro 5 LX.

With a continuous neck and a curved body, the Spector Euro 5 LX offers a high level of playing comfort.
For the construction of the Spector Euro 5 LX, Spector relies on an elaborate neck-through construction with a 35" scale and curved body, which not only guarantees a powerful sound with precise representation of the H-string, but also a high level of playing comfort. Accordingly, the heart of the five-string is the continuous, three-piece maple neck with reinforcing graphite inlays, while corpus wings of alder and maple complete the design. The ebony fingerboard also contains the typical Spector Crown inlays for marking the layers.
The Spector Euro 5 LX is equipped with an active EMG 40CSTW pickup and the active Spector TonePump tone control.
For the Spector Euro 5 LX EB Black Cherry Gloss Spector chooses two active EMG 40CSTW soapbar pickups. Equipped with ceramic magnets and steel blade pole pieces, the humbuckers deliver an extremely powerful yet transparent sound. There is also the possibility of coil splitting, so that the five-string's repertoire also includes wire-like sounds. In addition to separate volume controls for each pickup, the Spector Euro 5 LX also features the active Spector TonePump 2-band equalizer for precise adjustment of the sound.
Five Gotoh 707 bass mechanics at the headstock of the Spector Euro 5 LX guarantee a stable and exact tuning.
Last but not least, the Spector Euro 5 LX Black Cherry Gloss is completed by high-quality hardware equipment, which underlines the noble bass character with unrestricted functionality and a noble gold-plating. The Spector Locking Bridge sits accordingly on the body, which supports the sound development and sustain of the electric bass thanks to its massive construction and lockable string riders. At the headstock, the strings are also led via a brass saddle to the extremely precise Gotoh 707 bass mechanics.
