In the construction of the Czech-built Euro 5 LT, Spector pays special attention to the ideal combination of comfortable playing characteristics and a lively sound that accurately reproduces even the low B string. Accordingly, the heart of the five-string is a full-length, three-piece maple neck with 35" scale length (889 mm), whose flat profile with 46 mm nut width promises agile grooving on the 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Due to the convex arching, the weight-reduced alder body lies stable and comfortable on the body. Last but not least, the maple top set off with a walnut veneer provides the dignified noble bass look.
Bartolini Custom Wound pickups with their own volume controls and active Darkglass electronics promise a rich sound spectrum.

As pickup for the Euro 5 LT Spector chooses two passive Bartolini Custom Wound pickups. Specially designed for the Bass, the top-class Bass pickups convince with a transparent sound pattern that reacts to the playing style with sensitive articulation and also reproduces the B-string punchily and precisely. In addition to separate volume controls that allow free mixing of the pickup signals, Spector equips the Euro5 LT with an active Darkglass Tone Capsule preamp that provides direct access to the character-defining frequency ranges with bass and treble pots. The sound character of the mids can also be adjusted via an internal trim control.
Lightweight Gotoh Res-O-Lite tuners keep the Euro5 LT securely in tune and prevent head heaviness.
