Sputnik Modular Multi-Touch Keyboard Controller

The Sputnik Modular Multi-Touch Keyboard Controller is a touch keyboard with 29 keys and up to four voices. It is designed for the Eurorack system. The keyboard is equipped with pressure sensors that read the pressure across the surface of the skin in contact with the keyboard. Octave switches and ribbon controllers provide additional dynamics. The Multi-Touch Keyboard Controller can be used monophonic, polyphonic or as an arpeggiator.

The Sputnik Multi-Touch Controller game modes

The mode in which the Multi-Touch Keyboard Controller should be played depends on the position of the mode switch. In monophone/arpeggiator mode, only one note can be played at a time. In this case, voltage, gate and pressure are output via the MONO OUT connectors. The number of voices in polyphonic mode can be selected between 2, 3 and 4 times polyphony via the VOICES switch. CV and gate are output via the POLY OUT connectors. The additional location sensor (ribbon controller) produces CV and gate signals.

More dynamics with the arpeggio function

The arpeggiator of the Multi-Touch Keyboard Controller can be synchronized with an external clock via the trigger input or with the Tim encoder with an internal clock. Arpeggios can be played upwards, downwards and randomly. In Hold mode, the chord is held and only changes when a key is pressed and the Hold mode is activated again.
