While its construction remains true to the immortal classic of the fifties and sixties, it has some interesting features that set it apart from its role model in terms of playing technique and sound. For example, the Custom Tele offers an extended sound spectrum, which it draws from its Fender Designed single-coil at the bridge and an Alnico humbucker in the neck position. Furthermore, the model already has a Bigsby B50 vibrato system with an ingenious string-thru system for shimmering pitch embellishments with maximum tuning stability.
