The Squier Contemporary Telecaster HH Lefthand MN Dark Red Metallic is the perfect electric guitar for all musicians who want a classically styled instrument for modern sounds. Accordingly, the Squier Contemporary Telecaster has a light poplar body in the typical design, while the screwed maple neck lies comfortably in the hand thanks to the "C" profile. The Squier Ceramic Humbucker built in at the neck and bridge provide a powerful, clearly drawn sound image that makes every riff and solo expressive without denying the typical Tele-Twang. Last but not least, the Squier Contemporary Telecaster HH Lefthand has a 6-saddle hardtail bridge with sound determining string guidance through the body and precise squier mechanisms.
Squier Contemporary Telecaster HH Lefthand MN Dark Metallic RedLooks lovely and plays nicely - the guitar has a nice "sparkle" effect to the paint, a bit like metallic paint on the guitar. No sharp frets or rough finishes or anything else to mark it as a cheap guitar, and the roasted maple neck looks and feels very nice.
For the money it costs this is crazy value, if you slapped a Fender badge on this rather than Squier I'm not sure anyone would bat an eyelid.
The specifications on this guitar are, as stated in the advert, unusual for a guitar at this price point. That said, I'd be tempted to swap out the tuners/machine heads and maybe the pickups too. However I need to play it a bit more to be certain. :-)
