More than just a student guitar
Although the Mustang model was launched on the market in the 1960s as a student guitar by Fender, it has crystallized over the years as an indie cult classic. Like all guitars from Fender, it has a sound rich in character and a high visual recognition value, so the Mustang should of course not be missing from the new Squier Sonic Series. With its compact poplar body, short scale length and slim 'C' neck profile, the Squier Sonic Series Mustang MN electric guitar offers optimum playing characteristics for all requirements, whether for beginners or simply as a lightweight companion for on the go. Its ceramic single coil pickups in neck and bridge position provide sound variations with clear shimmering undertones and can be adjusted via 3-way switches and volume and Tone controls. Chrome-plated details and hardware shimmer as a further highlight of the traditional Mustang construction.
With its shorter scale length, the Squier Sonic Mustang MN Daphne Blue is an optimally compact electric guitar
The Squier Sonic Series
The Squier Sonic Series brings popular Fender instruments into the hands of beginners looking for quality at an affordable price, providing inspiration for advanced instrumentalists and expanding the Squier concept of making the Fender catalog available to everyone. With new finishes in fresh and familiar colors, the Sonic Series electric guitars and electric basses offer excellent value for money.

Great little guitar for the money. Obviously not as good as a regular Fender but super for a bang around second to get a different vibe with. Nice finish too for this price point.
Only complaint is that the neck has a few little imperfections on it but those might wear off after it's played a bit.
Thumbs up overall!
