This instrument by the Fender subsidiary Squier features a classic poplar body and bolt-on maple neck in a modern 'C' profile carrying a maple fingerboard with 21 frets in medium jumbo format. Three standard Strat single-coil pickups deliver the full range of the Stratocaster's classic sound with powerful tones in the bridge and neck positions, while the distinctive intermediate positions 2 and 4 can also be accessed via a 5-way blade switch. The Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster MN Black is completed by robust hardware comprising a vintage-style tremolo with 6 individual saddles, die-cast tuners and a large sixties-style Strat headstock.
Squier Squier Affinity Strat MN BK Black this is a nice jazz blues guitar i mainly recommend it to beginners. its a bolt on neck so there isnt much sustain, this guitar works good for like a year and a half then you get little trouble with the operations. but it last for a long time ive had mine for 5 years still works good but no the operations you get a little trouble. i do not recommend it for metal or for other heavy songs

Bought this affinity strat to modify it and make a Tom Delonge strat replica of it.
It is an incredibly good guitar for the price. Light, beautiful, and I am surprised by the quality of the fret work, which is not far from perfect, and definitely better than on my 2007 MIM strat. The setup is already pretty good, and the guitar is pretty much playable, right out of the box.
Would by it again without hesitation, and from Musicstore again, as they have a very good service.
