With the incarnation of the famous classic electric guitar, Squier remains true to the vintage style of the original without neglecting modern demands. Three Duncan Designed SC-101 single coils in neck, middle and bridge positions produce all sounds of the five famous Strat switching positions, while a slim'C' maple neck with 21-flush Indian Laurel fretboard offers the ideal balance between comfortable chord playing and technical leads. Last but not least, the Squier Vintage Modified '70s Stratocaster presents some optical refinements in the form of a classic '70s style headstock and plastic covers in aged black finish.
Squier Vintage Modified '70s Stratocaster IL Vintage WhitePerfect sounding guitar amazed for the price/product relationship. OEM duncan pickups sound great, I did an update with expensive pickups and will return to OEM ones because they sounded as good. Guitar is gig ready regarding sound and setup. The action was a bit high for my taste (but still great playability), but fixed that quicly. I quit an spring from the back to have the bridg floating and with no further adjustment works perfectly and I am suprised how well the guitar stays in tune. Again, great value in this instrument, great pickups, finishing is better than quitars 100 EU more expensive.
