If you want to create high-quality recordings and produce music at a reasonable price, the Steinberg UR22 MKII Value Edition is the right choice. Consisting of a UR22 MKII USB audio interface, the Cubase Elements and Cubase LE recording software and the Groove Agen 5 drum plug-in, you can intuitively create, edit and finalize songs.

Mobile 2x2 USB audio interface with iOS compatibility

The Steinberg UR22 mkII is a USB audio interface with 2 inputs and outputs. Both inputs are XLR or 6.35mm jack compatible and equipped with the excellent D-Pre Class-A mic preamps, as well as switchable phantom power and Hi-Z switching on one input each. So it's no challenge for the UR22mkII to record a condenser microphone with phantom power and an electric guitar with Hi-Z at the same time, even with best sound quality and a resolution of 24Bit/192kHz. It is also suitable for audio recording on the go, as it is powered via a micro USB, which is of course also practical in the studio or for home recording. What's new is that it's compatible with iOS devices, which is why Steinberg also includes the Cubase LE and AI software for iOS, allowing you to record audio creations from Apple music apps.

Cubase Elements

Even though it is "only" the entry-level version of Cubase, the program has a lot to offer. Not without reason, the software enjoys worldwide popularity, as it is easy to use, looks "tidy" and thus creates space for ideas instead of distractions and offers a variety of features for recording, mixing, mastering and producing.

Cubasis LE

Do you like to work on the go and want to be even more flexible in your work? With Cubase LE you can start your recordings on your iPad. The iOS sequencer has the same look and feel as the larger Cubasis version, is just as easy to use and is fun to record, edit and mix with.
