The Studio Electronics SCI FI Ring Modulator is actually a collection of signal-processing attenuation pots – it includes a Ring Modulator, Low-Frequency Oscillator, White Noise, Pink Noise and a true Sample & Hold generator with a Range control and a Lag Generator. To make the most of these effects the SCI FI has seven patch points – RM X In, RM Y In, Gate, Source, RM Out, White, Pink and S&H Out. As a single 10 HP module this unit offers exceptional value and range of options and patches, sure to be of interest to those building a new rack or further augmenting an existing one.
