Studio Electronics Tonestar 8106

The Tonestar 8106 can be used as a standalone synthesizer or in conjunction with other Eurorack analogue modules. The unit is internally pre-patched for instant sound creation but all elements of the module can be controlled using the CV ins/outs, Gate ins/outs and VCA ins/outs on the patch bay. The voice of this module draws its inspiration from classic synths such as the ARP 2600 and the Moog modular. The 8106 comprises of a VCO, a white noise generator (with attenuator), a voltage-controlled 6dB/octave high pass filter, an LFO (Triangle/Square waveforms), an envelope generator (AR/ADSR) and a VCA with feedback control. The combination of the patch bay and the internal patching allows the user to create some unexpected, unique sounds when experimenting with patching.
