Although the included software is pretty basic, across the four applications you're likely to find something which is suitable for a small to medium size rig.
The adapter is easy to use and certainly can't be faulted considering its really low price point. I'm just using mine for simple stripped back band lighting in standalone mode and it's fine for that.
The interface just works with some very basic softwares. Don't even try to use it for MagicQ MagicQ software. Even if that professional software has many presets for most of the USB to DMX interfaces, it wont recognize this one. I tried to return it and Musicstore wanted to charge me about the same price of the item as shipping costs... This is a bad experience with MusicStore
The product is very straight forward and easy to use, simple plug and play with the software recommended on the packaging. Would happily recommend it to anyone for basic application.
