Synthrotek Case Power

Bus Board for two 104TE rows

Synthrotek Case Power is a (power supply) bus board for two 104TE rows. It is basically a Noise Filtering Distribution Board with additional built-in voltage regulators. 18 Doepfer-Style Eurorack connectors with reverse polarity protected connectors, as well as a Molex quick-release lock. As a bonus feature, connection contacts for power supplies from other manufacturers (e.g. Doepfer PSU3) are installed on the Case Power Bus Board.

Power supply and daisy chain

To connect a power supply to the Case Power board you can use either the 3U Powerpanel or a low-cost No Panel Power DIY Kit. The Case Power Boards can be easily and safely connected in series with the Noise Filtering Distribution Boards for the power supply of larger modular systems.

  • Overvoltage protection: the module switches off automatically if too much current is drawn on a row of connections
  • the noise-reducing capacitors are placed in two sections on the board to reduce the noise transmitted from module to module to a minimum.

  • Molex quick connectors for easy and safe installation of the Noise Filtering Power Distribution Boards (not included)
  • Power connections for the use of power supplies of other manufacturers
  • Current output: (+12V/-12V) (3A/1.3A) (5V/1.5A)
  • LED status display for each connection row (+12V/-12V/+5V)
  • Protective cover with Synthrotek logo over the voltage converters

  • requires a 16-19V 90W power supply (not included)
  • The power supply is not connected directly to the case power board; the board must either be wired in the case, or the backlit 3U Power Panel must be used.
