The TC Electronic Plethora X1 is a versatile multi-effects pedal that delivers some of TC Electronic’s most popular effects as TonePrint models while offering extensive customization options to create your own ideal multi-FX setup. With seven effect presets and two slots each, you can load up to 14 TonePrints from any TC TonePrint pedal onto the Plethora X1. Pre-installed TonePrints include favorites like Hall of Fame II, Flashback II, Sub ’n’ Up, Corona Chorus, Viscous Vibe, Quintessence, and Pipeline, so you can start playing right away. Equipped with Bluetooth and USB-C connectivity, the pedal connects easily to PCs and smartphones, allowing you to fine-tune all effect parameters through the TonePrint app. Its compact design fits seamlessly on nearly any pedalboard, making the Plethora X1 a reliable all-rounder for rehearsals, studio sessions, and live performances with modern features and intuitive controls.

In practice, the Plethora X1 offers convenient features tailored for live performance. Its 1-inch IPS LCD screen clearly displays your selected effects, while the MASH footswitch functions both as an A/B switch and an expression controller. Stereo inputs and outputs create a wide sound image, fully unlocking the potential of reverb, delay, and chorus effects. Three dedicated controls labeled A, B, and C allow quick fine-tuning of various parameters, and a fourth control enables fast switching between the seven effect presets.
