Takamine FT340BS - limited acoustic guitar with pickup
The Takamine FT340BS presents itself as a limited special model in a classic dreadnought design and combines traditional acoustic aesthetics with modern stage practice. The heart of the instrument is the solid top, which ensures a lively response and dynamic sound development. For maximum flexibility, the acoustic guitar is equipped with an integrated pickup including preamp. This allows the natural acoustic sound to be precisely amplified and transmitted to the amplifier or PA system in a controlled manner. The overall package is rounded off by a custom-fit gig bag (soft case), which ensures safe transportation and reliable protection in everyday use.
The Takamine FT340BS is a limited edition special model with extensive features for a professional appearance.
Spruce and burl sapele
The model unfolds the powerful sound of a classic Dreadnought and impresses with its impressive presence and dynamics. At the center of the sound production is the solid spruce top, which provides an almost attack and high sound projection. Back and sides made of laminated burl sapele complete the sound with a warm, balanced basic characteristic. Sapele, a member of the mahogany family, supports defined mids. In addition, the distinctive burl grain gives the instrument an extraordinary look. When played together, it produces a powerful sound with clearly contoured highs and present mids. The guitar reacts sensitively to nuances of touch and remains transparent and defined even when played hard.
Slim mahogany neck
The mahogany neck lies comfortably balanced in the hand and supports a natural fingering across all positions. Mahogany provides stability and a solid playing feel that appeals to both beginners and experienced players. The rosewood fingerboard offers a smooth surface with a pleasant feel. Chords can be played cleanly, runs can be executed precisely and position changes are fluid and controlled. The 42.5 mm nut width also creates a comfortable string spacing, which offers optimum conditions for both powerful strumming and differentiated flatpicking. The playing feel is rounded off by the rosewood bridge with compensated bridge inlay. This construction supports precise intonation and ensures consistent playing behavior.
Pickup with preamp
The Takamine FT340BS is equipped with a pickup system including CTF-2N pre amp and thus offers full stage and studio suitability. The system transmits the natural character of the guitar authentically and in great detail, so that dynamics and expression are retained even when amplified. The integrated volume control allows the volume to be adjusted quickly and precisely directly on the instrument. With the 2-band equalizer, bass and treble can be specifically shaped to optimally adapt the sound to the room, band context or personal sound preferences. The notch filter is a particularly practical feature. It helps to reduce unwanted frequencies and to control Feedback effectively, a decisive advantage at higher volumes on stage. Finally, the integrated tuner allows the instrument to be tuned quickly and discreetly.
Natural finish
The model also impresses with a timelessly elegant design that harmoniously combines classic aesthetics and high-quality workmanship. The natural finish emphasizes the natural grain of the wood and creates an authentic, warm look. Furthermore, the high-gloss lacquer provides a sophisticated depth effect and effectively highlights the unique grain of the spruce and burl sapele. A tortoise pickguard stylishly rounds off the appearance. The warm, slightly marbled color tone forms an attractive contrast to the bright top and picks up on the classic tradition of high-quality acoustic guitars.
