The acoustic sound:

The GD93CE Cutaway Dreadnought offers a delicious special feature in the floor construction. In addition to the light and vibratory Quatersawn "X"-Bracing, a three-part back made of rosewood laminate with crossed maple stripes ensures powerful mids, balanced bass and radiant highs.

The TK40D:

In the cutaway version, the attractive GD93CE is also equipped with the high-quality Takamine TK40D pickup system - exactly the mix that makes the eyes of many a Dreadnought fan sparkle on and in front of the stage. In addition to a built-in tuner, three-band equalizer and midrange boost, this pickup also offers a notch filter that can be used to filter out unwanted feedback. Last but not least, the TK40D offers an extremely natural and transparent sound image.
