Takamine P3NY ML

The Takamine P3NY ML convinces with its compact New-Yorker construction, which produces a rich and long-lasting sound. In addition, the top and the back of the instrument are made of solid woods, so that each tone develops powerfully and comprehensively even with light strokes. The small body also offers a very comfortable handling, so that the Western guitar is versatile. In addition, the round neck offers an extremely obliging playability in all 21 frets and lies optimally in the hand. For use on stage, the P3NY ML features an in-house pickup system with integrated tuner. Visually, the Parlor is rounded off by filigree Bindings and a beautiful molasses finish with a high-gloss finish.

Construction and woods

In order for the compact acoustic guitar to produce a rich and warm sound, the top is made of solid cedar. The coarse-grained material provides a midrange-rich tone that is excellent for filigree Pickings. Sapele back and sides complete the overall picture with rich bass frequencies. While the sides are made of wafer-thin laminated wood, the back is made of solid wood. The round mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, which is especially flattering to electric guitarists due to its narrow width, ensures an easy grip.

Hardware and Design

The two-piece compensated bridge inlay and the 42.5 mm wide nut are matched to each other with millimetre precision and thus ensure clean intonation over the entire 630 mm scale length. Thanks to the chrome-plated die-cast tuners, the 6 steel strings can be easily brought into tune. The heart of the acoustic guitar is undoubtedly the integrated Takamine CT4B II pickup system, which is equipped with a generous side preamp. The molasses finish of the body contrasts nicely with the predominantly white inlays and bindings.
