The Tama CL72R Superstar Classic matte Auburn Elm Burst is a seven-piece maple drum set with hardware package. The outer layer of the shells is finished with the noble lacquer in matte Auburn Elm Burst. The seven drum shells are made of Maple and equipped with high quality shell hardware like the Star Mount, the Classic T-Badge and tripleflanged hoops. Due to the thin wall thickness, the Tama Superstar Classic drums produce a warm and assertivesound that remains stable and balanced thanks to the accurate 45° shell burr and Tama Power Craft II heads tuning.
Superstar Classic: Professional shells with a noble finish
The special feature of the Tama CL72R Superstar Classic matte Auburn Elm Burst is that it is a large drum set with seven shells and Hardware package, on the other hand the finish: If you are looking for a comprehensive drum set with a high-end look for demanding beginners and advanced players, you have come to the right place. The shells consist of eight layers with 7 mm thickness for the bass drum and six layers with 5 mm thickness for toms / snare. Only the finest maple is used, the classic in drum construction. In contrast to the Tama Superstar Hyperdrive, the shells of the Superstar Classic have the classic shell sizes and no shortened shells. This results in a resonant, deep basic character with a lot of power and assertiveness that has recognition value. The fine 45° shell burr in combination with Tama Power Craft II heads guarantees a sensitive response and high dynamics. Visually, the Tama Superstar Classic shells are rounded off by the matt lacquer finish.
Professional shell hardware from Tama
The tom-toms are mounted on the Tama Star Mount suspension, which guarantees free vibration and full resonance. The suspension is attached to four points on the top of the shell and has flexible wing nuts, so an ideal access during setup and stepless alignment of the shells is guaranteed. The rubber-lined low mass lugs and the classic Tama T-badge have been adopted from the old Superstar series and make the Tama Superstar Classic drum sets a visual highlight with retro charm even in their modern guise.
