The Tama Imperialstar IP52KH6 Drum Kit is a 5-piece drum kit that consists of a 22"x18" bass drum, 10"x8" + 12"x9" tom tom, 16"x14" floor tom, 14"x5" snare drum, hardware, cymbals, throne, and a hairline blue finish. For the last 40 years Tama has proven to have a fine sense for the demands of ambitious drummers. The popular entry-level drum set comes with, the Meinl MCS cymbal set, a Stage Master hardware package and a pedal from the legendary Iron Cobra series.

This shell set offers high quality shell material with innovative features. The shells of the Tama Imperialstar drum sets are made from Pappel wood and possess a wall thickness of 7.5mm. Pappel wood produces a full, warm sound combined with a medium attack. In order to achieve the best possible sound, the shell bearing edge is precisely cut with lubricating gel to 45° and thereby offers the perfect contact surface for the head. Low-mass lugs and Tama's patented tom mounting system give the shells there exceptional resonance and optimal vibration characteristics.

Consisting of an Iron Cobra pedal, a snare stand, a straight as well as a boom cymbal stand, a stool and of course a hi-hat stand, drummers are offered an extremely robust, long-lasting and double-bracket hardware pack that leaves nothing to be desired. Included with the Tama Imperialstar "READY-TO-ROCK" pack is a cymbal set from the Meinl MCS series. These harmonically tuned cymbals are currently the standard for ambitious beginners. The extremely fine lathing optically sets the bell apart from the rest of the cymbal. Through this process the bell produces a clear and assertive ping sound.
