The shell consists of 5 layers of birch wood with 3 additional inner layers of bubinga, so the sound is extremely defined, balanced and versatile. The Black Star Sparkle Finish is a real eye-catcher and in connection with the Evans Black Chrome head complemented optically and tonally ideal. The inwardly rounded Tama Sound Arc Hoop enhances the natural tone of the drum shell and offers high tuning reliability, precise tuning and variable control in every situation.
