Tama Starclassic drum kit with hybrid shells made of maple and birch
The Tama MBS52HZBNS-SGR Starclassic Performer Smoky Grey is a professional drum kit from the Starclassic Performer series with hybrid shells and an excellent finish. The tom and floor tom shells in hybrid construction consist of 6 plies and 6 mm each (4 plies birch + 2 plies maple). The Bass Drum is made of 7 plies (5 plies birch + 2 plies maple) with a total thickness of 7 mm.
Structure
Thanks to the combination of the two woods, the Starclassic hybrid shells offer the clear projection of birch, perfectly combined with the deep warmth of maple. All heads are from Evans, and the reliable Star-Cast mounting system for tom suspension is also available. As with all Starclassic series, the Performer series also features professional cast iron hoops.
