Hand-signed Peter Erskine snare made of spruce/maple with Remo heads

The Tama PE1445 Peter Erskine Snare 14" x 4.5" Wild Spruce impresses with a hybrid shell made of spruce/maple and Remo heads. Each Tama PE1445 snare features a special sticker on the inside bearing an original Peter Erskine signature. The world-renowned drummer signed each sticker personally. The shell construction consists of six plies and is 6 mm thick, using four plies of spruce with two additional inner plies of maple. The Sound Focus Ring on the top edge is also constructed according to this concept. Remo Ambassador Coated/Hazy heads, in combination with the eight tube lugs, provide outstanding tuning stability. The Sound Arc hoops, with a thickness of 2.3 mm, are curved inwards: they protect the drumsticks while also offering sensitive response and excellent control. The Hi-Carbon snare wires can be finely adjusted and balanced via the Linear Drive strainer.
