Once again, the snare drum range from Tama has been expanded with six great models. Situated in the lower price range, the brand new Soundworks line stands exactly for what it name suggests - sound. You can chose from 6 models made from 3 different high quality material, each with a main and a side snare. The wide range of sounds leaves nothing to be desired and covers every style. All models impress with great looks and workmanship.

Kapur - dry and warm!

Kapur is a relatively hard wood which is ideal for building instruments. It generates a nice dry sound which is warm and voluminous at the same time. The frequencies of the Kapur Soundworks snare are extremely balanced which makes it a great choice for various styles of music. The relatively thin shell of 6 mm with 6 plies of Kapur guarantees a sensitive response with a mighty attack. Sound Arc hoops and the popular Evans G1 heads add to the assertiveness of the snare. The natural finish looks very noble and compliments every set.
