The Tama Superstar Classic CL50R-TPB in Transparent Black Burst is a 5-piece drum set made of 100% maple incl. Stagemaster Hardware package from Tama. The Superstar Classic series from Tama marks the culmination of a 40-year success story, and to commemorate this, the classic T-badge has been reinstalled. The lacquered maple drum shells are made of carefully selected maple wood and are combined with high-quality shell hardware, such as Star Mount, Low Mass Lugs and triple flanged hoops to create an all-round drum set that is more than convincing due to its affordable price. The relatively thin shells produce a brute and assertive sound without compromise, also thanks to the fine 45° bearing edge and the Tama Power Craft II heads.

Professional shell hardware at a low price

The tom-toms are mounted by means of the proven Tama Star Mount suspension, this guarantees a free vibration behavior and full resonance. The suspension is attached to four points on the top of the shell and also has flexible wing nuts, so ideal access during setup and flexible alignment of the shells is guaranteed. The rubber-backed low mass lugs and the classic Tama T-badge have been adopted from the old Superstar series and also make a visual highlight with retro charm out of the Tama Superstar Classic drum sets in the modern guise.

Tama Superstar Classic: 100% maple

Unlike the Tama Superstar Hyperdrive, the shells of the Superstar Classic have the classic shell sizes and no shortened shells. The thin drum shells of the Tama Superstar Classic are made of carefully selected maple wood. The Bass Drum consists of 8 layers with a thickness of 7 mm, Toms as well as snare of 6 layers with 5 mm total thickness. This results in a resonant, deep basic character with a lot of power and assertiveness, which definitely has recognition value.

The fine 45° shell burr in combination with Tama Power Craft II heads guarantees a sensitive response high dynamics. Visually, the Tama Superstar Classic shells are rounded off by the high-quality lacquer finish.
