The birch shells sound harmonious and balanced in combination with the Tama Sound Arc Hoops. The elaborate Black Marine Pearl Vintage finish and the brown wooden bass drum hoops give the Tama VR38VS-BMP Silverstar Vintage Shell Set the finishing touch. The Tama Silverstar Drums are made from carefully selected birch wood. The moulding process is identical to that of the high-end series, resulting in a powerful, rich and warm sound that can otherwise only be found in significantly more expensive price ranges.
The Star Mount System holds the tom shells at 4 points of the hoop on the batter side and ensures an optimized vibration behavior of the Silverstar Tom Toms. The tom holders can also be moved longitudinally, which gives an extra 50 mm clearance when positioning the toms. All Silverstar drums are equipped with Sound Arc Hoops. The upper edge of the hoop is bent inwards, which on the one hand protects the sticks, but above all emphasizes the natural sound of the shell. They also provide improved response and more precision and control.
