The expertly crafted shell consists of 6 plies (4 plies birch + 2 inner plies walnut) with a total thickness of 6 mm. By combining these two woods, the Starclassic hybrid shell delivers the clear projection of birch, perfectly balanced with the warm low frequencies of walnut. The cast hoops and Starclassic lugs focus the sound, while the proven MCS70 snare strainer allows precise adjustment.
