The Tama WBSS65BB-VBF is a premium snare drum from the acclaimed Starclassic Walnut/Birch series, featuring a hybrid shell design and outfitted with high-quality Evans drumheads. This limited-edition model comes finished in a stunning Vermillion Bosse Foncé Fade and is fitted with sleek black nickel hardware for a striking visual presence. The shell consists of six plies (6 mm total thickness), built from a combination of four outer birch plies and two inner walnut plies. This hybrid construction delivers the bright projection and attack of birch, enhanced by the warm, low-end presence of walnut. The result is a rich, balanced snare sound that’s both powerful and musical. Die-cast hoops and Starclassic lugs help focus the tone, while the reliable MCS70 throw-off offers precise snare wire tension adjustment.
