12-string acoustic guitar, Grand Auditorium, solid Sitka spruce top, rosewood body, ES-2 pickup system, gig bag included
With the new Taylor 254ce the Californian manufacturer presents a 12-string acoustic guitar in Grand Auditorium design, which thanks to its construction represents a perfect blend of playability, sound and aesthetics. The solid Sitka spruce top and the strikingly figured rosewood body produce an extremely punchy sound with pronounced highs and powerful basses. The typical chorus effect of the 12-string instrument is particularly prominent due to the clear frequencies, creating a warm and broad sound spectrum. The flat mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard offers incredible playability, which is especially noticeable in the high registers. Thanks to a narrow nut width of approx. 48 mm, the string pairs can be gripped effortlessly and, in terms of playability, do not even give the impression of playing a 12-string guitar. To perfectly round off this instrument, the manufacturer uses smooth-running die-cast tuners, which enable precise tuning and, with their chrome look, are a perfect match for the instrument's appearance. The guitar is equipped with a Taylor ES-2 pickup system and comes in a sturdy Taylor bag.
