With the 356e, Taylor presents a solid 12-string Grand Symphony Western guitar with a brilliant and powerful sound and amazingly soft playability. The voluminous sound is provided by the quite large Grand Symphony body and the successful wooden combination of Sitka spruce top and sides and back made of Sapele. Accordingly, these 12-strings resonate with tight and powerful basses, choral and lively mids, as well as crystal-clear highs. With these sound characteristics, the 356e is ideal for powerful vocal accompaniment. Nickel-plated die-cast mechanisms ensure tuning stability and precise tuning, while a compensated Micarta bridge inlay provides clean intonation and a flat string position. For the amplified stage sound the Taylor in-house ES-2 pickup is available, which reproduces the outstanding sound of the guitar with natural dynamics and harmonic balance. Last but not least, a Taylor case is already included.
