Grand Concert Body:

This Grand Concert is a somewhat smaller design among Taylor guitars and is extremely popular with fingerpickers. Thanks to its smaller scale and slim waist, it is Grand Concert pleasant to play and has a lower string tension. Ideal for Studio and stage!

Expression System 2 :

This Expression System 2 is an upgrade to the previously used version of the in-house pickup system. In contrast to previous practice, the Transducer ES2 is not located under but behind the web insert. This was due to the consideration that the insole is limited in its vertical oscillation due to the high string tension, but can oscillate back and forth. The Piezo pickup takes advantage of this movement to produce a warm, full and less biting, garish sound.
