The grain of Granadillo, of Central American origin, also offers a breathtaking appearance in addition to its special sound. A solid cedar top with a granadillo body resonates with warm bass, full mids and clear highs. The sound of Granadillo is similar to rosewood with a broad frequency spectrum, clear articulation and a bell-like shimmer that enhances the sustain. Since granadillo tends to have a slightly higher wood density than rosewood, this effect is intensified in the overtone spectrum.

The Expression System 2 comes with quite puristic controls. A volume, bass and treble control can be found on the frame. But here, too, it was considered, because the low level of technical equipment ensures a largely free acoustic resonance.
