The TN-400BT-X is an analog record player that combines classic vinyl playback with modern wireless technology. It allows you to enjoy your LP records wirelessly via Bluetooth headphones and speakers. The high inertia die-cast aluminum platter is driven by a high torque DC motor via a durable rubber flat belt and guarantees precise rotation speed in three adjustable steps (33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm) for a stable sound image. The S-shaped, statically balanced aluminum tonearm is equipped with a counterweight and an anti-skating mechanism and its precise guidance ensures accurate tracking of your valuable vinyl treasures. A tonearm lifter enables smooth lowering onto the record, while gold-plated contact points reduce signal loss between the tonearm and headshell. A precision-machined stainless steel spindle with brass bearings ensures precise rotation speed thanks to low friction.
The built-in phono EQ amplifier with a hi-fi quality NJM8080 operational amplifier chip (developed by JRC) amplifies the audio signal from the stylus with minimal distortion and allows connection to conventional hi-fi amplifiers or micro hi-fi systems without a dedicated turntable input. A subsonic filter filters out frequencies below 18 Hz - particularly effective with warped vinyl records. In addition to the SBC codec, the wireless Bluetooth transmission system also supports the higher-quality aptX and AAC codecs. The connection to Bluetooth® headphones or speakers is made simply by pressing a button. The elegant walnut housing gives the turntable a timeless aesthetic, while the milled aluminum control knobs and the aluminum feet attached to the high-density MDF chassis with shock-absorbing rubber exude quality and offer high feedback resistance. The deck comes with an excellent Audio-Technica AT95E MM cartridge with a lightweight aluminum cantilever.
