For the 20th anniversary Thermionic Culture offers a special and limited edition of the popular Culture Vulture stereo tube distortion unit. Limited to 120 copies worldwide including signed certificate and equipped with Premium Vintage Mullard and Philips factory tubes, this jewel differs from the original not only by the purple front panel, but above all by the much lower background noise, the balanced line inputs and outputs (Sowter transformer), and the rasterized potentiometers that simplify the recall. As far as sound is concerned, the 20th Anniversary Limited Edition is almost identical, but offers a significantly extended high frequency range - ideal for mastering. Besides the popular degree of distortion like the original, the special edition comes with an additional pentode distortion stage P3 and a three-stage overdrive boost.
