The THORENS TD 201 Black is a high-quality, manual turntable with belt drive, which is aimed specifically at dedicated beginners. Thanks to the integrated MM phono preamplifier, which can be switched on and off, and the pre-mounted Audio Technica AT3600 cartridge, it offers genuine plug-and-play functionality. It can be connected directly to any amplifier or active loudspeaker, even without a separate phono input, and offers a quick introduction to the world of vinyl.

The TD 201 works with an internal flat belt drive and a smooth-running DC motor that ensures constant speeds. The electronic switch enables convenient switching between 33 1/3 and 45 rpm. The solid cast aluminium platter with integrated damping ring minimizes vibrations and supports precise, clean playback.

The newly developed Thorens TP 71 tonearm has a removable headshell with bayonet lock, which makes it easy to change the cartridge. The pre-mounted Audio Technica AT3600 MM cartridge delivers a balanced, detailed sound with pleasant dynamics.
