The Thorens TD 402 DD is an "out-of-the-box" turntable equipped with an innovative, ultra-quiet direct drive and offering additional convenience features such as an integrated phono preamplifier and an auto start/stop option. The TD 402 DD goes beyond the expectations of an entry-level model and combines the latest technology, ease of use and excellent sound quality. The built-in TP 72 tonearmconsists of a carbon tube, the pre-mounted AT VM95 E cartridge is housed in a removable headshell and the integrated phono preamplifier can be deactivated when not in use. In addition, the switchable limit switch ensures less wear and tear on the stylus and cartridge.
