The Thorens TD 402 DD is an "out-of-the-box" turntable that has been equipped with an innovative, exceptionally quiet direct drive and offers additional convenience features such as an integrated phono preamplifier and an auto start/stop option. The TD 402 DD goes beyond the expectations of an entry-level model and combines the latest technology, user-friendliness and excellent sound quality. The built-in TP 72 tonearm is made of a carbon tube, the pre-assembled AT VM95 E cartridge is housed in a removable headshell and the integrated phono preamplifier can be deactivated when not in use.
