The Tiptop Audio Z4000 Black is an envelope module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. It generates a classic four-stage envelope, with each segment adjustable manually via knobs or dynamically under voltage control. The first 0–50 % of each knob’s rotation is designed for high-resolution adjustment in the millisecond range. An attack slope switch lets you choose between logarithmic and exponential attack curves. In addition, an integrated CV processor allows scaling, inverting, and voltage-controlled shaping of the envelope. Output levels can reach up to 10 V in either polarity, be mirrored to the opposite polarity, or be limited using the voltage-controlled deviator scaler.
