The TipTop Audio Z4000 VC Envelope Generator is a voltage–controlled analog envelope generator with a built-in CV processor for scaling, inverting and VC deviation of envelope shapes. Each stage of the envelope (Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release) can be manually adjusted or voltage-controlled. The first 0-50% of the scaling control knobs are dedicated to high-resolution adjustment in the millisecond range, reducing clicks and pops. From 50-100% rotation will provide long delay times lasting from several minutes to infinity.
An Attack Slope switch allows selection of a logarithmic or exponential curve for the opening of the envelope, enabling fine adjustments. The envelope can be triggered manually by the Shoot button, and a re-trigger input grants access to legato notes via keyboard.
