The Trace Elliot TE-1200 is a powerful bass head designed specifically for professional applications on large stages with 1200 watts of true RMS power. Building on over four decades of experience in bass amplifier design, the model combines classic Trace Elliot sound shaping with modern features. In addition to the characteristic pre-shape EQ, which provides the typical Trace sound, the TE-1200 offers an integrated dual-band compressor for low and high frequencies, which can be deactivated by foot switch if desired. A 4-band tone control, gain and master controls as well as a mute/tune switch enable precise adjustment to the instrument, playing style and stage situation. The high output power allows two Trace Elliot Pro cabinets to be driven simultaneously, so that the TE-1200 offers superior headroom and punch even in loud band and touring environments.
Numerous connections are available at the rear for flexible integration into modern setups. These include pre- and post-XLR outputs with ground lift, a power amp in/out for using multiple power amplifiers, a noiseless FX loop with level switch and a USB interface as a recording out for direct recordings.
