The Two Notes Torpedo Captor X+ is the latest version of the popular Reactive Loadbox and presents itself as a versatile all-in-one solution for modern guitar recording, silent practice and live use. In addition to the proven functions such as 100 watt Reactive Load, integrated attenuator with three power levels (Home, Club, Stadium) and extensive IR-based speaker simulation, the update offers numerous new features that make the system significantly more flexible. The centerpiece is the new True Stereo DynIR Engine, which enables independent positioning and Panning of two microphones or IRs to create realistic, spatial stereo sounds. This is complemented by extended routing with dual-mono operation and separate signal paths for each output, allowing different sounds to be used in parallel. With the new Virtual Load Shaper, the impedance behavior can also be specifically adjusted to shape the feel and sound characteristics of the amplifier. The integrated FX section has also been expanded and now includes an EQ, enhancer and other processing options in addition to Reverb. The system can be conveniently controlled via the revised Torpedo Remote software with USB-C and wireless connection. Thanks to XLR outputs, headphone connection, MIDI and extensive IR management, the Torpedo Captor X+ remains a powerful solution for flexible guitar setups - now with significantly expanded sound and routing options.
