Two channels with typical Vox character

Just like its popular ancestors, the Vox AC30 C2 guitar amplifier also has two channels that give it a wide sound spectrum. While the normal channel has a volume control and is the specialist for glassy clean sounds, the top boost channel delivers a creamy overdrive that can be adjusted via controls for volume, Bass and treble. Common to both channels is the typical Vox chime in the treble, which gives electric guitars an enormous assertiveness. In addition, each channel has a Hi and Lo input, which offer different gain levels and allow both channels to be "patched". The master section offers furthermore tone cut and master volume to control the overall sound of the amplifier.

Reverb and tremolo effect on board

The Vox AC30C2 Combo is also equipped with reverb and tremolo effects that significantly expand the sound options. The reverb, for example, lends the sound a harmonious three-dimensionality that brings every note into the room with three-dimensional plasticity. The character of the reverb effect can be precisely adjusted using the controls for Level and Tone. The tremolo effect, on the other hand, impresses with its harmonic volume modulation, the depth and intensity of which can be adjusted using the corresponding controls. There is also a serial effects loop for looping in additional effects devices, which can be completely removed from the signal path when not in use.

Four EL84 and two Celestion Greenbacks

The power amplifier of the Vox AC30C2 guitar amp is equipped with four EL84 tubes, from which the tube amplifier draws a full 30 watts of power, which is output via two 12" speakers and accordingly releases enormous volumes for the stage and rehearsal room. The two Celestion G12 Greenback speakers impress with their classic vintage sound, whose tight bass, vocal mid-range warmth and sweet treble spectrum harmonize perfectly with the character of the amplifier. Furthermore, the combo offers two connections for external speakers if a different sound image is desired or a large room with a larger diaphragm area needs to be covered.
