The key to success here is the famous 3205 BBD chip, which gives the Double Deca its signature studio-quality bucket-list delay sound. Three different modes are available that influence the delay time: In Short mode, up to 300 ms of delay can be accessed via the Time knob, making this mode the perfect foundation for powerful slapback sounds. If you're looking for long decaying echo sounds, the 900 ms of the Long mode is the perfect choice. Furthermore, the Deca-Delay offers the Both mode, which combines both delay times simultaneously for spherical ambient sounds. Especially in combination with the continuously adjustable chorus effect of the Modulation knob and the variable effect intensity of the Feedback knob, nothing stands in the way of creating room-filling sounds as a combination of delay, chorus and reverb.
