Vermona uniCYCLE is an oscillator module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. The module has a range of five octaves, which can be controlled by 1V/Oct. Alternatively, the range can be changed with the "Tune" slider. The special feature here is the central position of the controller: thanks to a "dead zone", the zero point can be reliably found even without mechanical engagement. Additional inputs are inputs for hard and soft sync as well as inputs for exponential and linear frequency modulation. Six waveforms are available as outputs. In addition to the classic sawtooth, triangle and square, Vermona uniCYCLE generates sine, even (a waveform with even harmonics only) and a special sawtooth with double frequency. By pulse width modulation, rectangle, even and double sawtooth can be influenced manually or by control voltage.
