Extended drumsticks from the American Concept series by Vic Firth
The Vic Firth FS5B Freestyle 5B sticks from the American Concept series are 5B hickory sticks with a longer taper and grip. Vic Firth has taken the principle of a longboard skateboard as a model for the Freestyle Sticks. The handle and the taper of the drum sticks have been extended in the same proportion, so the drummer has a larger area of the drum stick which he can actively use. The result is a much more dynamic playing experience with much more possibilities in terms of volume and speed.
